I have found Ms. Marie Poirier of Marie Poirier Planning and Associates to be very results oriented. She has been very professional in all matters and appears to be well regarded and respected by town staff. She has been in this business for many years and has had to address a wide variety of cottage lot situations. I have never met her personally, but we certainly have exchanged email correspondances during the progression of my situation. At her meeting with the town, she managed to put in place a plan to resolve my current Summons with the expectation that the fine will be dropped and the remaining items be addressed. I would recommend Marie and suggest that it may be worthwhile to pass her name onto others. What I have found out is that it is not worth trying to do this by oneself, but to have a third party such as Marie get involved.”
